EWV operates mainly in Portugal and Spain but has also been involved in conservation projects in other countries like Angola

or the United Arab Emirates.

EWV aims to provide professional and reliable wildlife veterinary services to the conservation and zoo industry and adds to the market the combined experience of 3 veterinarians with different backgrounds and areas of interest. We are equipped to perform advanced diagnosis and surgical procedures in “difficult” species or plan and execute the capture and translocation of large numbers of wild animals with the highest standards utilizing the most updated techniques, drugs and equipment.

EWV have expanded significantly in the last years and currently provides veterinary and curator services in a large African Safari Park in Portugal, consults for several wildlife and hunting reserves and attends to a number of wildlife rehabilitation centres.

Our company is also becoming a reference in Europe in the training and education of wildlife veterinarians providing unique hands-on practical experience to vets and students that desire to understand and get involved is this highly competitive field of the veterinary profession.
