EWV operates mainly in Portugal and Spain but has been involved in other projects in Angola and the Emirates.

We provide professional and reliable wildlife veterinary services to the conservation and zoo. Which adds the combined expertise of 3 veterinarians with different backgrounds and areas of interest.

EWV is equipped to perform advanced complementary diagnostic tests, such as field radiology and has the knowledge to perform surgical procedures in “difficult” species.  We have the know-how acquired throughout years of international experience, to plan and execute the capture and translocation of wild animals with the

highest standards, utilizing the most updated techniques, drugs and equipment and in the most varied settings.

EWV is developing a strong relationship with Universities and colleagues passing on  and exchanging experiences, in order to broaden the reach of the Conservation cause in our society.

SERVICES

IMMOBILIZATION AND TRANSPORT

EWV has the means and tools, to safely capture any animal that needs treatment or to be transported, either by physical restraint or using drugs, having also a fully equipped car with  the necessary materials to perform surgery and diagnosis (Ultrasound, X-ray) anywhere in the country.

Specialized transport, from the smallest animal to the biggest ones.

MONITORING OR ADVICE ON A HERD OR A SINGLE ANIMAL

GIS (Geographical Information Systems) a tracking device used in animals in hunting areas and for conservation purposes.

We can monitor the birth and survival rates.

CAPTURE OF ANY DOMESTIC ANIMAL

With the cooperation of the Municipalities, authorities, and privates, our team has de ability to capture the animals in safety, keeping their economic value to the owner.

From stray dogs to escaped farm animals, we can safely manage any capture and any surroundings.

TOGETHER WITH CONSERVATION CENTERS AND UNIVERSITIES

We provide veterinary care to wildlife rehabilitating centers (such as Santo Andrés Wildlife Rescue Center), and epidemiological and tracking studies on wild populations (such as the Iberian Wolf).

We develop cooperation protocols with several universities in areas such as post-graduate studies and scientific research.
